Bananas

It's a Christmas miracle!!!! Well maybe not, but it is a huge leap forward for Connor. He has been begging me every time we go to the store to buy bananas. I tell him he has to eat them if I buy them and he says he promises that he will. Do you think it has ever happened? Of course not! He will ask for a snack and I tell him there are bananas or apples or oranges. He goes for the oranges, never the bananas. Well it finally happened tonight! We went to the store earlier today and he, of course, wanted to buy bananas. So I did, and he promised that he would eat them. Well, tonight he asked for a snack and I said that we had the bananas. He was excited and said OK, I'll eat a banana. I made him eat it in front of me so I could verify he was actually eating it. He was saying that it was delicious, but his face said otherwise. But, he didn't gag, throw up, or go spit it out in the garbage. I think he is doing better on the texture thing, or at least learning how to tolerate it enough to eat certain things. I have noticed that the older he gets the more he is willing to try.
