The results are in.....

Kiley and Connor had their first Feis today.  It was a long day.  It started at 6 am.  They had to be there at 7:30 for registration, then had to wait another 2 or more hours before they danced. They had a lot of fun. Connor brought home 3 medals.  We put him in the first Feis category.  In that, all the kids get a medal no matter what place they get.  He got 3rd, 7th and 8th place in his 3 dances.  Kiley wanted to be in the beginner one category.  They only give medals for the first 3 or 4 places.  She place 5th (only 1 point away from 4th place) in one and 6th (only 2 points away from 4th) in her other dance. I think they did great for it being their first Feis.  Kiley got some blinged out poodle socks and shoe buckles to wear for her next Feis.  Connor got his first pair of hard shoes.  He is so excited.  He wants to keep them on.  He has already put some scuffs on the kitchen floor, oops.  I guess we need to find some cheep linoleum to put down for them to practice on ;).
